Audio Driver, Daedalon®

Many acoustic experiments require a source of mechanical motion at a known frequency. Sonometers, Kundt's tube and Chladni plates can all function more efficiently if they are driven by a precise wave motion. Our Audio Driver fills this common need. A sine wave oscillator combines with an audio amplifier through the frequency range of 0 Hz to 45 kHz. A five-digit display presents the output frequency. Choose from 4 output waveforms: sine, square, triangle, or sawtooth . A potentiometer on the front panel easily sets frequency and output. An output on the front panel provides a square wave output to synchronize an oscilloscope, so students may view the signal easily without jitter on the simplest oscilloscope.
